Improper annealing may be an example of internal stress.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;There are some pieces that have internal flaws such as voids or debris that were introduced in the manufacturing process.  We call the debris pot stones or bubbles.   Sometimes the flaws are too small to see with the naked eye or may be covered up by the glass sickness.<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;If a flaw is spotted the owner will be notified.
